Paddle, Live, & Experience the Great Outdoors!

"Wilderness is not a luxury, but a necessity of the human spirit." - Edward Abbey

From canoeing to paddling and hiking, we love to go out and experience the great outdoors! This club is a nonprofit club. Anyone can join and there are no dues and it costs nothing! It's just a group of people who are enthusiastic about paddling and experiencing the world out in the wilderness.

Canoing is Exciting!

One thing that most people don't realize is just how exciting canoing and paddling can be. Yes, it's one of the most peaceful activities that you can partake in, but it's also one of the most exciting. There's nothing like the calm and peace that you get from being out in the wilderness, but it also provides a sense of excitement, because you're exploring unknown (and sometimes known) land. It's in our DNA to be explorers, and it's something that everyone has in them. If you've never gone out and explored the world in a canoe, it's something that's definitely worth trying!

Another great thing about paddling and canoing is that it's a great stress reliever. Something about being out in the middle of a lake, with the calm water and peaceful trees on the shore is something that can really help a person feel better about everything. Connecting with nature is a great way to bring life into perspective and also lower stress levels in general. As we get more and more used to dull office life, we're disconnected from nature and the great things it has to offer. This is a shame--everyone should give canoeing a try in order to reconnect with nature!
